Every Child Deserves the life-changing benefit of Summer Camp
Every child deserves the chance to experience the wonder, growth, and sense of belonging that summer camp offers. Yet for many, barriers like financial hardship, discrimination, disabilities, or difficult life circumstances can stand in the way. Our organization was created with a simple but powerful mission, to break down those barriers and open the doors of summer camp to every child who can benefit from its life-changing experiences.
The reason Camps Rock Foundation exists !!!
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of our Camps Rock Foundation is to provide children the opportunity to attend summer camps. We are specifically focused on children who have experienced financial hardships, discrimination, disabilities, or life events that have been challenging. Attending camp enables children to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills, fostering independence, friendship, exploration of interests, and teaching valuable life lessons such as resilience and leadership.

Do Camps Help Kids Grow?
Empowering Young People
Personal resources and resources of the sociocultural environment help children and adolescents to successfully cope with challenges in everyday life, which is associated with better individual well-being. SCOUT, the ‘Study on Competence development in OUT-of-school settings’, investigated whether participation in a summer camp enhanced adolescents’ personal resources, well-being, and readiness to contribute to the community.

Benefits of Camp Experience
A new American Camp Association (ACA) study highlights the lasting impacts of camp and the ways that quality camp experiences support young people in developing valuable skills, learning who they are, and preparing for life beyond camp. The National Camp Impact Study, which looks at data gathered between 2017 and 2022, includes both youth and staff research and is the first longitudinal study of its kind.

Camp Programming
Youth need opportunities to try new things, feel successful, and develop meaningful relationships with others.
